Recipe: Buffalo Chicken Wingettes
Ingredients
1 pack organic chicken wingettes
2.5 tsp baking powder (for crispiness)
1.5 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
For the Buffalo sauce:
1/3 cup hot sauce
1/3 cup melted butter
1 tbsp honey or a splash of vinegar (optional, for balance)
Directions
Prep the Wingettes:
Add baking powder, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a bowl.
Pat chicken wingettes dry using paper towels.
Rub the mixture onto the wingettes.
Bake or Air-Fry:
Oven: Preheat to 425°F (220°C). Place on a wire rack over a baking sheet; bake 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway.
Air Fryer: Set to fry at 400°F (200°C) for 20–25 minutes, shake halfway.
Make the Buffalo Sauce:
In a small saucepan, mix hot sauce and melted butter.
Add honey or vinegar if desired. Heat gently, stirring until smooth.
Toss and Serve:
Once crispy and cooked, toss wingettes in warm Buffalo sauce.
Serve immediately, traditionally accompanied by celery sticks and your choice of blue cheese or ranch dressing.
