Frozen Cauliflower - Extra Small 10mm IQF Florets

₱ 164 /kg

Extra-small frozen cauliflower florets (approximately 10mm) processed using IQF (Individually Quick Frozen) technology for convenient portioning and consistent cooking results.

Harvested and processed shortly after picking, the florets are blanched before freezing to help maintain their color, texture, and overall quality. Each piece is frozen individually, making it easy to pour and portion only the amount needed.

Pre-cut and ready to cook, these versatile cauliflower florets are suitable for roasting, steaming, sautéing, soups, gratins, cauliflower rice, purees, and everyday meal preparation.

Chef’s Tips:

  • Roast Directly from Frozen: Roast frozen cauliflower at approximately 220°C to help excess surface moisture evaporate during cooking, encouraging better browning and texture.
  • Season Before Cooking: Toss frozen florets with oil before adding herbs and spices. This helps seasonings adhere more evenly to the cauliflower.
  • Make Cauliflower Rice or Puree: Pulse the florets in a food processor until the desired cauliflower rice texture is achieved, or cook until tender and blend into soups, purees, and vegetable mashes.

Product FAQs

Why are the florets extra small (10 mm)?

The smaller size helps promote faster and more even cooking. They are particularly useful for soups, stir-fries, cauliflower rice, purees, meal prep, and recipes that benefit from uniform portions.

Do I need to thaw frozen cauliflower before cooking?

No. Frozen cauliflower can typically be cooked directly from frozen. This is often preferred for roasting, sautéing, soups, and casseroles.

What can I make with frozen cauliflower florets?

Frozen cauliflower can be used in cauliflower rice, roasted vegetable dishes, soups, curries, casseroles, gratins, purees, and vegetable side dishes.

Culinary Uses & Everyday Applications

Thanks to their small size and versatility, these extra-small cauliflower florets can be used across a wide range of everyday recipes and side dishes.

🍚 Cauliflower Rice & Grain Alternatives

Pulse the frozen florets in a food processor until they resemble rice. Sauté with olive oil, sesame oil, herbs, or seasonings, and use as an alternative to rice in bowls, stir-fries, and meal-prep recipes.

🧀 Bakes, Gratins & Casseroles

Layer frozen florets into baking dishes with cream, cheese, garlic, and herbs before baking until tender and lightly browned. Suitable for gratins, casseroles, and vegetable bakes.

🍛 Curries, Soups & Purees

Add directly to curries, soups, and stews during cooking. The small florets also blend easily into vegetable purees, creamy soups, dips, and sauces.
